Rainbow Week was an immense success with organisations and companies taking part during the week of 15th and 21st November for National Children’s Grief Awareness Week. The purpose of the week is to raise awareness of the needs for bereaved children and coincides with international children’s grief awareness day on the 21st November. This year’s theme was #lostforwords to share the understanding that this is how children can feel when they are grieving.
We asked you all to #weararainbow and share your activities and photos to our social media pages. The support given was incredible, from dress down days to gym sessions, lots of rainbow faces and cake, you all embraced the rainbow theme and collectively raised an incredible £3604 !!!!
Take a look at this video created by our volunteer Jade, which encompasses some of the social media posts and photos we were provided.
We hope you can join us next year!
