This weeks teen session was all about achievement and there were 8 participants who joined.
The group was asked to think about what the word achievement means to them and to share back any achievements they have reached over the last two weeks.
Personal Achievements could include charitable work, establishing good health, learning a new skill, reading a book, a good deed for someone. Big or small every achievement was celebrated.
The week of our next session is also Mental Health Awareness Week 18-24 May 2020 with the focus this year being all around the power and positivity of Kindness. The group is encouraged to think about what this means to them and to share back any acts of kindness they have done or witnesses. We shared this video at the end of the session.

“As the Covid-19 outbreak confines most of us to our homes, video chats, and zoom sessions are a crucial way for young people to stay in touch with their peers, to open up about their feelings and worries, share the joys and challenges of lockdown. Thank you to everyone who is joining in, whether you are speaking or listening, your presence is felt and appreciated”
