This week’s group was focussed on the power and potential of kindness as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. 18-24 May 2020.
The group shared their acts of kindness including acts of kindness that they have witnessed.
We heard stories of helping care for siblings, washing cars, baking and sharing cakes and so much more. We talked about how Kindness is teaching and contagious and that it can help others to feel valued.
The group then spent some time thinking of what other acts of kindness they can do over the coming weeks within their community, at home, public and, social media.
Our next teen session is Monday 1st June 2020 and the Focus for the session will be around control and focussing on what you can control. This will include discussing what the group feel about the current online sessions and how we might move forward with them.
