In the couple of months running up to Christmas we have had some fantastic fundraising going on. We really appreciate all the effort that people put into raising awareness and funds for us, the past two years has been a difficult time for everyone so THANK YOU!!!!
Firstly, I would like to thank H&M who made a considerable donation to us in November, we are so grateful for these funds, they will help towards us recovering from the pandemic and moving forward with our business plan.
We were lucky enough to be asked by Keith Emmett to attend the Stony Stratford lights switch on and bucket collect by their awesome organ stand. Thank you to all the volunteers who stood there in the cold and wet to help raise the awareness of Harry’s Rainbow and collect some pennies. As usual, Energie Fitness gym pulled out all the stops with their Christmas party and everyone had a fab time, whilst also raising money for us.
A massive thanks to everybody who has signed up to regular donations and become a Friend of Harry’s Rainbow. We really appreciate these donations, and the regular income enables us to plan the support we can offer bereaved children. Our BIG Christmas raffle was a great success again this year raising £1659, a huge cheer goes out to all the people who kindly donated prizes, we ended up with over 40 prizes. The lucky winner of the £200 first prize was Stacey Morey.
I would also like to mention Samantha Poole from LoveLocal Hub in Milton Keynes city centre, she has always championed Harry’s Rainbow but has also agreed to sell our candle and Harry the Hound in the shop, get in there to check out all the fab local merchandise she is selling on behalf of local MK businesses.
2022 has started and we have some great events planned this year – Abseil, Skydive, Running events, bike rides plus loads more keep an eye on our social media pages or visit https://www.harrysrainbow.co.uk/events for more information about our challenges planned for this year.
