At Harry’s Rainbow all our volunteers are Heroes for giving up their precious time to help us in one way or another.

There are various different ways in which you can volunteer for us: 

• You can sign up to regularly help and organise our organised events, such as quizzes, lunches and our balls. 
• You can join our beneficiary support team and help out at Rainbow Groups. Groups take place every Monday, late afternoon to early evening.

In return we will provide you with:

• Training and Induction (compulsory)
• DBS check (compulsory)
• Out of pocket expenses
• Mentoring supervision (compulsory for some roles)
• Branded tee shirt/hoody once your role has commenced
• Being a member of a fantastic and inspirational team who work together to give bereaved children a brighter tomorrow!

It costs us approximately £200 to onboard and train a volunteer. We take safeguarding seriously and operate within our safer recruitment policy. Our volunteers must undergo a DBS check and be able to provide satisfactory references, as well as completing online training in Child protection before working with our beneficiaries.
